Penguins are unique, flightless birds who "fly" through the water. They have successfully adapted to different environments, some very extreme. There are 17 species of penguins and they are only found in the Southern hemisphere. Penguins can live in habitats that range from tropical to arctic. The Emperor is featured in the film, "March of the Penguins" and is the largest penguin at 4 ft. high. The smallest penguin is the Little Blue Penguin at only 16 inches high. All penguins eat fish, squid, and/or krill. Among their main predators are Leopard Seals and Orcas (killer whales).
